Welfare worker, nurse and editor of lyrics. Director of the Mädchenerziehungsanstalt Hirtenberg until 1957 and editor of the magazine Soziale Hilfe (1926–33). From 1938–45, worked privately for political reasons. From 1945 onwards she was involved in education and taking care of refugees through the organization Caritas Socialis.
