Prior to that he served as Professor of Music, Chair of the Music Department, and Executive Director of the Fine and Performing Arts Division of Eastern University. His doctorate is in composition and his primary composition teacher was two time Guggenheim recipient, Romeo Cascarino. Ron is a commissioned and published composer in multiple styles whose works have been performed in Europe, the Middle East, and North America. Ms. Pei-Ju Peggy Yu, an international soprano, serves as his Editor.
