Extra Information Regarding the composition date: 1917 is from the FE score. David Parlett's site has 1916, and composition may have started then, though other works are often listed by composition-conclusion date. British Library has an autograph score with date 25 August 1916. Since it was premiered on December 5 1916, 1917 may just be a typo?
