Navigation etc.
There is an idea in the bases of the work, accordingly, that which is hidden (in this case is a “shadow”); it sometimes may appear more important and serious than, that which is the real image and is viewed at first sight... In the work “images” are cl. and violin as well as fl. and cello their “shadows”. Piano in the ensemble is neutral and takes part to create or solve a conflict. As in nature sometimes the shadows may become increase more and more and conceal the real image / in other words become of more importance /, so that the one which is stays after the active music action as a phonetic sound, /“shadow”/ is very outstanding. Finally the “images” become “shadows”. This cruciform takes place in reprise , when the instruments change their “ back and front” play.(Notice, that the “shadows” are repeat the pitches, which already have sounded by the “images” , no other pitches were taken for them).
