1827 is also the earliest year this piece could (probably...) have been published, since the Paris version of the opera (Moïse) was premiered (perhaps also revised/composed/brought into being? Rossini scholars?) that same year. So the N. Simrock table and the opera history are in some agreement on this point... - ES
