* A song of the same title, Neig, schöne Knospe, was set by several composers- including Hauptmann himself (perhaps a different setting of the same Bodenstedt translation of Vazeh's Azerbaijani original?) in (in his case) another work called Aus "Mirza Schaffy", according to rec.music.org. It seems at least possible that no.6 here is a different setting of the same text. Lacking a copy of op.47 no.6 at the moment, one is reduced to conjecture.- ES
