Manuscript, yes- important question- was this work ever published (and how recently? If its -first- performance or publication was in the last 25 years that presents a problem, if I remember.) (Manuscript isn't the same as never published, of course- libraries have manuscripts of works that have been much published, e.g. the Library of Congress has the manuscript of Brahms' piano quintet...)
