Referred to as Philipp Scharwenka's best known piano work in an article in 1909. Republished several times, by Heugel ca.1882 for example and by F. Lucca in 1883. (A list of the entries in the Heugel edition, unknown order, includes Eroica, Festa, Mazurka, Patria and Vivace- so listed in an 1882 issue of Bibliographie de la France, separately. The Mazurka in G minor may have been first in the B&B edition. According to Wikisource, "fünf" light pieces- only five - so five.
