The original instrumentation is unknown, although Teixidor's biography on Wikipedia mentions that the original was published in 1925 in Madrid by Música Moderna, so tagging is subject to correction if that is ever uploaded. Teixidor conducted a band at some point, so it is likely written for whatever the instrumentation in that band was.
