Worklist says premiered 1923; Operone.de has 1932 for premiere year? Any records of the repertoire of Budapest's National Opera House in 1923 and 1932 (or perhaps reviews of the premiere) to settle the discrepancy. -- MPH Preface quotes 5 December 1923 review of premiere.
The Musical Times, July 1, 1914 mentions Hubay's opera and says that it will be produced during the next season. Presumably that prediction did not come off, one way or the other, if the premiere did not happen until 1923 or 1932...
According to Magyar zene - Volume 35 - Page 79, "Anna Karenina, opera 4 felv. op. 112. Bemutato: M. Kir. Operahaz: Bp. 1923, Duisburg, Bochum 1932, Nurnberg 1934." (A book on Josef Krips mentions him giving a performance in Vienna in 1939, so there a 4th performance or so. Not many, it seems, though. I wonder where the parts/full score are.)
Performed 2014 November at the Staatstheater Braunschweig (the excerpt/promotional video on YouTube says "Premiere" but this may refer to the first local performance?)
