Alive in 1897 probably, having arranged a vocal score for an opera (by Suda) given its premiere in that year? Perhaps even alive as late as ca.1913 (an arrangement for piano duet of "Nový Čechův sen" (by Karel Weis) by Štětka apparently published for the first time in 1913...) In 1890 an andante of his own composition for violin and piano was published.
