Amateur composer. Learned organ when 10-13 years old, played in church. Learned guitar when 15-16 years old. Created and led rock band for 5 years (16-20 years old). At the same time (19-22 years old) became member of an Academic Music and Drama Group (choirs, tuna band "trovadores", fado coimbra). Now 50 years old, was always part of some music group (for 10 years at Madeira "tuna"; also Chamber Choir; more recently at the Porto Cathedral Choir).
