It does not seem certain that Hiram G. Barrus, administrator in Massachusetts alive 1822 to 1883, is H.G. Barrus the musician active in New Hampshire in 1848. The music available to upload is by H.G. Barrus, and the identity of the two is a possibly tendentious (at best tentative) guess. Does anyone know more certainly?
