Absence of mentions in contemporary (scanned-in, anyway) sources (under either Johannes Beurle or Christian Beurle- a Christian Beurle was mentioned a few times, actually, but not as a musician, but rather in relation to some patents in the mid- to late-19th century), or of much besides biographical information in commercial sources like Musicalion and such, makes one wonder - pseudonym??... Curious...
