A British society entertainer at the piano, born in Lambeth in 1866. She had a long career at piano entertaining, from the Victorian era to the 1920s, broadcasting on the BBC. She also composed Musical Monologues for other entertainers, such as Cooper Mitchell. Away from the piano, she had a long career in acting. She starred in many Gilbert and Sullivan performances.
