Dreyer has "Robert Gund (Gound)) p. 9 (b. 1865; d. 1927; was called "Gound" from years at the Leipziger Konservatorium", but changed the name back to Gund in 1916 to avoid a 'French name' during WW1. Neue Zeitschrift Obituary has him 62 years old which, if true, would have his birthyear in 1864. Born in Seckenheim, Mannheim, Germany, died in Vienna.
