Miscellaneous information
- Conductor of the Montreux Orchestra (Monthly Musical Record reports him so in a report from Antwerp, on 1 April, 1901. This orchestra disbanded in 1914 and was also conducted by Ansermet.) Born in (quoting MusicSack) Liegnitz, Schlesien now Legnica, Poland, died in Basel. In the 1961 film "Verdammt die jungen Sünder nicht", Werner Hinz plays a character (maybe based on the composer/violinist/conductor here?) named Oskar Jüttner. (Also (further, miscellaneous) in a report (from the website of the publisher Zimmermann) on Grossmann's Ukrainian Overture - "Die Uraufführung führte der Kapellmeister Oscar Jüttner in seinen Symphonischen Konzerten durch.")
