Miscellaneous information
- Organist active in Paris from 1765 to 1783. See Michel Brenet's article in La Revue musicale (June 1906, pp.291-97) covering 16 musicians with the surname Le Clerc (including the two fairly well-known publishers). The organist represented on this page is No.12 in the list, mentioned at the bottom of page 296 and top of 297. The BNF record states he was organist of the Fathers of Mercy, the Minims and Fathers of Nazareth in Paris from 1775-80 but no longer at these religious establishments by 1783.
