Violinists Isidore Israel and Émile Mendels (1889-1987), uncle and nephew, lived in Bourron-Marlotte and Fontainebleau, south-east of Paris.They organized concerts there ca 1900-1920. Israel bought a villa Les Sorbiers where many concerts were held.
