Violinist, and member of the Moralt-Quartett (ca.1800-1810) with his brothers Jacob Moralt (1780-1820), Joseph (1775-1855) and Philipp (1780–1830) The only work to be reprinted was Leçons méthodiques for two violins (1823), part of which appears in Adolf Grünwald's Berühmte Violin-Etüden (2 vols, Litolff, 1893).
