According to biographical notes by J. Joubert in «Les Maître contemporains de l'orgue» (1912), C.M. Pollet, born in Paris in 1876, has been organist of St-Augustin and St-Vincent-de-Paul in the same city, then assistant to G. Fauré at La Madeleine church from 1898 to 1905. Organist at the cathedral of Nice in 1906, he was appointed at the cathedral in Monaco in 1909.
