Member of the Austrian
Nostitz
dynasty.
His brother
Franz Anton
(1725-94) built many of the grand palaces (such as
Mesice
) in Bohemia, the present Czech Republic. The
Ständetheater or Gräflich Nostitzsches Nationaltheater
in Prague (1783, architect
Haffenecker
) is famous for some Mozart first performances in the 1780s.
