Italian composer and court administrator. He was a nobleman and belonged to the Knights of St Stephen, a military order based in Pisa. He was probably an associate of the circle of Florentine poets and musicians that had Jacopo Corsi as its patron from about 1592 to 1602. He received musical tuition from Marco da Gagliano.
