Using Spifire Grand Cimbalom and in this case the SonicCouture Ondes Martenot sample library (no reason why this piece can not be for Ondes Martenot as well as theremin)

For those who want to play theremin, the accompaniment is added using East West Gypsy Cimbalom virtual instrument.

Here's the accompaniment using Spitfire Audio's "Grand Cimbalom". This is a Kontakt5 plugin. Sounds
more like the real thing to me than the East West (though also may be using a different mallet). I did not adjust the
level on this one from the Kontakt output (so its a bit low compared to the other example).

Inverse pedal notation means that the score is notated using traditional "Ped" and "*" markings. Cimbalom sample sets allow the user to use the MIDI pedal control (and normal piano pedal notation markings) to sustain the sound when pedal is down and damp when the pedal is up. The cimbalom actually works the opposite way. Sound is sustained normally and muted when the pedal is down.

Here I notate on a single staff using normal cimbalom pedaling (though using piano pedal markings). Ped = Pedal down. * = Pedal in normal up position.

Navigation etc.
Working on a series of pieces for various instruments and instrumental combinations (some unusual) and theremin to see what sounds good with the instrument. Using sample libraries to test. Here testing cimbalom and theremin.
