The 2nd clarinet sonata is modern-classical (i.e. neo-romantic with more modern influences) and consists of three movements. The sonata is probably best suited for the clarinet in A, but I have created also the sheet music for the clarinet in B-flat. The 1st movement is moderately fast and in sonata form, the 2nd movement is slow and passionate, with a very captivating theme, and in Lied form, the 3rd and final movement is a very fast rondo, challenging for both the clarinetist and pianist. Digital performance using Sibelius 5 with Garritan Personal Orchestra. Videos with the score moving and play along videos are on my YouTube-channel.
