  • According to the WorldCat entry for the George Hunter edition of Ward's Italian Madrigals, only Cor Mio has survived with all the words intact.
  • Ward published a set of English madrigals which was "apt both for Viols and Voyces", so the Italian madrigals were also probably intended for either viols or voices.
