The pin roll has 12 melodies. 2 of them are hymns from "Den Haefnerske koralbok" ("Min synd, o Gud, mot dina bud" and "Vak upp, min sjæl, gif ära"). 10 melodies are dance songs from the Vimmerby region in Småland in southern Sweden. The composers of the dance songs and the person who has pinned the roll waltz are unknown.
