Misc. Notes

At the end of the collection, there are two arias by Hasse (from Adriano in Siria and Artemisia respectively) which were inserted in a revival of Galuppi's Penelope. - NB. The aria 'Ecco alle mie catene' is Gluck's setting. Further, 'Per lei mi nacque amore' is from Hasse's La Spartana generosa (also used in Demofoonte). All other arias are probably by Perez, at least their words appear in the libretto printed for the original production, which premiered at the Regio Ducal Teatro of Milan on December 26th, 1750.
