Publisher. Info. Paris: Henri Lemoine, n.d.(ca.1852?). Plate 3829, 3829bis HL.

Misc. Notes Plate often unclear, probably 3829. This plate suggests a date in the 1850s, quite possible since Nicolas Louis was the next generation after Spohr (he was born during an early quartet concert of Spohr's music attended by the composer, as a story recounts!) The part could conceivably have the same plate despite belonging to a later work just because publishers liked to keep related works' plates together, I believe.- Schissel

For the original version: by 1861 (appears in Catalogue des ouvrages de musique of Lemoine published 1861.)

The Mohr is a transcription; the violin and piano version seems to have been intended by the composer, with- I am guessing but this seems to fit?- some brushing up of the violin part for posthumous publication? by Nicolas Louis. - Schissel (on 2nd thought, Opp.5, 12 and 13 were published around 1832 acc. to Revue musicale, vol.1, so ... )
