Because most of my Intavolations are never heard before, I decided to make a simple computer synthesized audio file for hearing control

In French Lute-tablature (d, a, g, D-lutes) with diminutions in the tradition of the great luteplayers of the 16th century. By performances I would look forward about a small reference to my efforts.

Sweelinck wrote at least two "Fantasias in Dorian mode" - the Fantasia chromatica SwWV 258 and the Echo Fantasia No.1 SwWV 260. May have been published by Simrock in 1871 - not sure. (They published several facsimile manuscripts of Sweelinck in 1871 including two of his four (or more?) "Fantasia auf die Manier eines Echo" (Echo Fantasias) (also works by Samuel Scheidt, with editorial commentary by Robert Eitner, or so I gather.) This work here seems to be SwWV 260 after comparing it to part of Woolley's recording of the latter for Chandos, but maybe someone could double-check that...
