The first piece has the tempo of a Wiener Walzer but it is not (and must not be) a waltz. The second piece shows a nearly empty stage and a dancer (probably female) in simple clothes. The third piece is a humble hommage to F. Mendelssohn's songs without words. The fourth piece is an easy impromtpu, met unexpectedly. The last piece is very fast and after the finish the players are happily exhausted.
