The 2nd movement of Langgaard's first symphony (1908-11)* is an orchestration of this movement, so fans of the composer (or even fans of that symphony, which has been recorded once or twice more often than most of his others) may well recognize this piece just from there.
Information on premiere of the intermezzo in trio form can be found at p.129, Vinholt Nielsen, "Rued Langgaards kompositioner: annoteret værkfortegnelse" (1991).
*but that said- a symphony given a sort of premiere even so in an abridged form - on the piano by the composer as a suite in November 1908; the missing movement was not this one but the finale. The symphony wasn't premiered in full until 1913.
