This isn't actually the Ouverture to the opera composed by Rossini, but a readaptation of the dances from Le Siège de Corinthe. Rossini didn't write an overture for this opera, which was rediscovered and reassembled just before its first modern performance, given in Pesaro on 18 August 1984, with Claudio Abbado conducting.
