The text of Prendi o caro, identified by Giovanni Tribuzio, is from La finta sposa. This opera buffa was also composed by Gaetano Latilla and Domenico Fischietti. Giovanni Battista Zingoni's version in Dublin (1762) is a pasticcio and "Walsh speculates that the piece may actually be the works of Gaetano Latilla" (see Greene, Theatre in Dublin, 1745-1820: A Calendar of Performances, Volume 1, p. 756).
