This set of variations is based on the famous song Long, Long, Ago, but it is unclear who actually composed it. Both Grove Music and Wikipedia attribute it to Thomas Haynes Bayly. See Long, Long Ago (Bayly, Thomas Haynes) and also Long, Long Ago (Horn, Charles Edward).
Though the series this comes from is "Arranged" as solos, this doesn't qualify as an arrangement per se under IMSLP's tagging rules, because it isn't a straight arrangement of the song, and has additions, i.e. the variations, added by Janon. Thus it qualifies, and is tagged as, an original work.
