The parts were initially titled just Symphonic Rhapsody, which was the composer's initial title, "Mai-Dun" being added at some point (between 1921 and 1923?).

Gives manuscript location at @British Library (dated 1920-21 - according to notes by the composer for 7 October 1922 performance conducted by Albert Coates, it was sketched out in October 1920 and completed in November 1921.)
