For piano but according to Volta (The Wind Band and Its Repertoire) probably intended for military band (instrumentations of the various kinds of military bands of the day given by Volta given on his page 76.) "The only available evidence that Strauss sanctioned... these arrangements... is that on March 6, 1907, in Berlin, Strauss himself conducted the military band version of the Brandenburg March." (Volta includes also as evidence that "Strauss obviously intended them for military band" but this is proceeding on assumptions not proven.)
