According to Monatsbericht (1927), p.240, the title of the published version of the work has 1927 in it, generally meaning that 1927 is also composition date. However, can find no other evidence of this, and some library sources give [1927] rather than ©1927 for publication date- is 1927 actually copyrighted on score (which I can't see there :) )? - Schissel (not doubting year of pub., just c/nd status)
