An 1887 performance, reported on as a new work, described in the magazine Musical Notes in its December 1887 issue.

(Performed December 7 1886 or 1887 with Agnes Zimmermann as pianist in London.)

The small score in Breitkopf's 1878 printing is 140 pages. Schlüren notes this was "Huber’s only concerto to appear in full score during his lifetime."
