Extra Information | The numbering schemes of the editors and Lawes biographers Murray Lefkowitz and David Pinto are identical for the 5 part consorts but different for the 6 parts. Organ or basso continuo? Also, seems to be the same as VdGS LAWES-6 Nos. 68, 69 and 70 based on the partial manuscripts in the British Library described at RISM here- RISM 800268008 and RISM 800268603 (copy of bass part made ca.1644). - Schissel |
