Editing: re-sampled to 600dpi, converted to black and white tif files, de-skewed, and set uniform margins. Pagination as follows: pages 1-67 (engraved), blank page, 68-177 (hand stamped), 178-182 (engraved), blank page, 183-216 (hand stamped). This matches the copy held by the New York Philharmonic Orchestra which was presented to the orchestra by Strong in 1924. The score also has some additional tempo and performance indications that have been hand stamped (these aren't found in the NYPO copy). This copy also had pasted in a copy of Ernest Ansermet's program notes (he first conducted the work in 1912). Since the copy originated from the composer's estate the hand-stamped instructions are probably his or were sanctioned by him.

Misc. Notes Original images: ca.400dpi, color tif(from pdf) files approx. 3550 by 4395 pixels. Editing: re-sampled to 600dpi, converted to black and white tif files, de-skewed, and set uniform margins. The parts reflect two optional cuts (one in the second and one in the fourth movement). These are reflected in the parts held by the NYPO. In the brass parts several measures in the final movement have been altered and the parts include additional hand-stamped tempo and performance indications (these aren't found in the NYPO copies). Since these parts originated from the composer's estate the hand-stamped instructions are probably his or were sanctioned by him. Also worth noting that only the second clarinet part retains the Op.50 designation after the composer's name. All other parts have had it erased (the composer abandoned the use of opus numbers after this composition).
