Navigation etc.
Pulawy is a town to the east of Warsaw which was a center of Polish culture from 1784 to 1830 under the patronage of Prince Adam Czartoryski (1734-1823).
Anna Czartoryska (nee Sapieha) (1799-1864) married Adam's son, Adam Jerzy Czartoryski (1770-1861), a Polish patriot resident in Paris.
Anna's son Władysław Czartoryski (1828-94) founded the Czartoryski Museum in Cracow in 1876.
