Hrm. In Paris at least he was only up to Op.27 or so in 1833- maybe a little later than 1835 for Op.48? Could be though, worth checking, will see if there's a mention in an ad in a British journal or somesuch...
F major opening, gets to B minor only gradually and very interestingly (it seems to this writer.)
"contre basse ou basso di camera" doesn't mean contrabass or basso continuo, but rather 2 different forms of contrabass.
