In Hyperion's recording, the trio has been arranged for the more usual complement of violin/viola/cello (by the cellist of the recording, Gould; not just by changing the tessitura of the tenor viola part but also, as noted in the Hyperion notes, by changing the distribution of the parts - as should probably go without saying, I suppose, if the arranger is wise...) - Schissel
