Extra Information The composer, being a guitar player, discovered some of these chord progression through playing guitar.

Currently the only recording of "Trust in Despair" here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p4OFkSDEoNE It's not a perfect performance. That being said, this piece was designed for the more intermediate player; I suppose the test here is that "if the music sounds good played by a not-so good player, then it'll definitely stand the test of time".
