Navigation etc.
First movement surrounds a E major main section with an E minor opening and closing Andante (on the principle that a movement's main key is that of its main fast section, its key, and that of the work, is still E major as advertised.)
There are three Ludolf Nielsen symphonies - no.1 in B minor op.3 (1902/3), no.2 in E major, and no.3 in C major op.32 (recorded as op.22 - not sure - published in 1913 as op.32, though?) (1911-13). Since op.22 is Efteraar! from 1911, op.32 seems more likely. All three have been recorded, symphony no.2 (at least) twice (on cpo, and as part of the complete cycle on dacapo.)
Symphony 2 also published in full score by Musikproduktion Höflich.
