Navigation etc.
Dedicated to a Viennese music critic, L.A. Zellner, who first used the term Zukunftsmusik (Liszt wrote a famous letter to him about this) - who may also have been a composer and cellist of Croatian birth, but not sure (the time and initials make this possible, but that's not clinching evidence?) (Schissel) - however, see: Taylor: Anton Rubinstein: A Life in Music, p.61. Zellner had recently defended Rubinstein in the press and Rubinstein dedicated this symphony to him in gratitude. "Mr. Zellner, however, is a good musician, a composer himself", begins a letter Rubinstein wrote Liszt and which Taylor quotes.
