Misc. Notes Facsimile of copyist manuscript. Whence the date 1973 for publication? Worldcat says 1972, if anything; but possibly the 1943 first Chappell publication?

Navigation etc.

A-flat minor by observation. (4 flats vs. 7 flats means nothing when constantly contradicted in the first movement by C-flats etc. in the main theme and even its final chord.) The score does not say more than A-flat, if anything. Edinburgh Library has published in 1943.
