Template:CCdesc

Syntax and usage

{{CCdesc| parameter }}

The parameter is one of the short-hand descriptions of the Creative Commons licenses and is used to generate the appropriate descriptive substring, e.g.

{{CCdesc|by-nc-nd}}

returns the string “Attribution Non-commercial No Derivatives”.

The default licence is Creative Commons Attribution (cc-by), which is returned if the template is not passed a parameter, e.g.

{{CCdesc}}

returns the string “Attribution”.

This template is used by Template:CC to generate appropriate links to IMSLP and CC webpages.
