Hello Contributor,
You recently submitted a batch of Score and/or Parts files in separate movement format or combined, to [[{{{1}}}|here]]. Please note that any uploads of the Full Score (if you submit them for the entire work), whether it is for the original setting or the arrangement setting, must have all movement files for the PDF combined into a single "Complete Score" per our policy on IMSLP for formatting and standardization rules. Please submit the score files for multi-movements works in a "Complete Score" format for future uploads. "Complete Parts" and "Complete Score and Parts" (in that similar category) files are also not acceptable as a file format. Part files uploaded by Movement is not allowed on here (unless you planning on only uploading a selection of movements for the parts, then all the movements should still be combined per part if possible).
On top of the above, the woodwind, brass and percussion files must separate out all numbered wind parts into separate PDF files if the parts are not doubled or in a grand staff format (ex: "Flute 1, 2" in a single file is NOT acceptable, however a "Flute 1/2" if it is doubled is acceptable, a "Flute 1", then a "Flute 2" part is also acceptable. We will only be accepting part files uploaded below separately in the following format (for any transposing instruments that has a flat key use the {{flat}} template in the file descriptions of the uploader after the letter of the key for example (B{{flat}}) = B♭). All string parts must be completely separated into single PDF files as well as part of the same batch of files.
(Please note all parts submitted below must be listed in the uploader from the Piccolo to the Double Bass for instrumental part and not in alphabetical order before clicking "Submit", which is labelled as "Basses" and all File Descriptions must be written in English or English Equivalent with just only the instrument name, no movement naming in the same field as the instrument is allowed in the fields in the case of uploading part files unless it is part of a selection of movements - ex: "1. Allegro - Flute 1" is not allowed because usually the part set will be put under a movement header above the set, only the instrument name "Flute 1" should only be entered. All Vocal or Solo Instrumental parts are listed above the Orchestral Accompaniment in that case).
Note: If the Percussion are combined into a "Percussion Score" like file, please list out all instruments in this score file but they must contain "/" between each instrument (ex: Triangle/Snare Drum/Bass Drum/Tam-Tam/Tambourine) if they are part of a grand staff and not separate parts. Also all doubled parts including in the woodwinds and brass instruments that are numbered if they are doubled must contain a "/" as well to designate they are doubled parts. Keep in mind the ordering for Percussion based files do not have a strict ordering but I would say list them from highest to lowest instrument in the range with the keyboard like percussion (Xylophone, Glockenspiel) listed toward the bottom of that section but above the Celesta. If for example a Flute 3 also doubled a Piccolo part, then it will be labelled as "Flute 3/Piccolo". If the Flutes (and a Piccolo) are all part of a single grand staff as one file then it will be labelled for example as "Flute 1/2 (2 also Piccolo)" (if there are 2 flute players playing with 1st or 2nd doubling the piccolo). Also Choral Scores are NOT included in the parts tab, these should go under the Vocal Scores tab (for large ensemble works) because if the work is written for Mixed Chorus and Orchestra or a similar large ensemble, the Vocal Scores tab is mainly to include a keyboard accompaniment but these kinds of scores can have without a keyboard accompaniment (so basically a half scoring of the Vocal Score) but would be labelled as a "Choral Score" in that case, even though it is a "Part" file of the Orchestra.
Also all String Instruments (if they are pluralized as more than one instrument per instrument) use Roman Numerals (ex: I, II, III), especially in the Violins if there is more than one Violin Part, but in the Woodwinds, Brass, Percussion and Keyboard related instruments, these use Arabic Numerals (ex: 1, 2, 3). If there is one string instrument playing for the whole part, use Arabic numerals just like the woodwind and brass instrument (ex: Violin 1, Violin 2, etc.).
Thank you!
